AN OVERVIEW OF THE L.A.M.E INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP

“As libraries seek to streamline their operations and adapt to the demands of the digital age, it has become evident that a significant number of librarians, including library students, do not have comprehensive knowledge or practical experience using Library Management Systems (LMS). It is against this backdrop that this International Workshop tagged: “Library Automation Made Easy (LAME) with ActiveShelf and Koha ILS” aims to bridge the gap by equipping participants with a foundational understanding of library automation and its potential to simplify and optimize library operations.

Through presentations, hands-on sessions, and panel discussions, participants will explore the role of Integrated Library Management Systems (ILS) such as ActiveShelf and Koha in modern library management.”

SESSION 3 (PRESENTATION AND HANDSON) – TOPIC: “AUTOMATION MADE EASY WITH ACTIVESHELF INTEGRATED LIBRARY SOLUTION” with Mr. Christian Ogbejie (Business Development Librarian, Libtech)
